Then please volunteer to be part of the agriCULTURED festival to be held from 4 to 7 August 2022. 

Volunteers are so important to agriCULTURED and we value any time you can provide. There are loads of exciting and stimulating events and activities over the four days from talks, music in sheds, farm visits, fine food and beverages and everything agriculture related in-between.

WASTE WARRIORS

This year’s agriCULTURED festival is involved with the Zero Waste Events Tasmania program! That means we are implementing best practice waste management strategies across all of our festival sites. This awesome program is an opportunity for us to increase our commitment to environmental sustainability and focus on waste reduction, resource recovery and education. SO we need your help to achieve our goals!

Our waste team is looking for some passionate waste warriors to help with waste education, monitoring and management. The primary role of a waste warrior is to promote and educate festival goers on how to recycle (which bin to use) and promote the values of Zero Waste Events Tasmania. If required you will also be on litter patrol. For those further interested in waste management we also offer the opportunity to undertake waste auditing, reporting and analysis. Times: minimum 4 hour shift at any time throughout the day (10am – 11pm)
