Rhys Hannan

Former owner-operator of Small-Fry Hobart (2013–2020) and chef of 20+ years, Rhys is now part of the operations team at Launceston’s Harvest Market, where his lifelong obsession with good produce is indulged carte blanche. He’s done some telly (Channel 7’s Left Off the Map), a lot of cooking, and probably too much talking about both. Much like a Labrador, he’s been food-motivated since about age four. He remains committed to Tasmanian food excellence and is suspicious of unnecessary garnishes and those who use them.
