Good Food Workshops

Zero Waste Kitchen

In partnership with St Lukes and Sweetbrew

In the lead-up to the agriCULTURED Festival in August, agriCULTURED and St Lukes present two community-focused workshops centred on healthy eating, sustainable kitchen practices, and the value of Tasmanian produce. These hands-on sessions are designed to support individuals and families in developing practical, budget-friendly food habits that are good for both people and the planet.

‘Zero Waste Kitchen’ is a practical workshop exploring how to reduce food waste while creating healthy meals at home. Participants will learn zero-waste cooking techniques from Sweetbrew’s chef, along with guidance on growing produce at home or in community gardens, and how to share or swap excess harvests locally. The session concludes with a shared meal for all participants.
