Soil Scientist, Tasmanian Institute of Agriculture

Bianca Das is an early career researcher and lecturer in soil science with the TIA, University of Tasmania.

Growing up in New Zealand, Bianca gained a core value of “kaitiakitanga” or land stewardship. Her research has remained focused on developing win-win strategies for farmers to boost productivity and reduce negative effects on the environment.

Bianca’s favourite food is – fresh veggies with rice and fish.
