Elaine is Head of Tourism at the award-winning Seppeltsfield Wines in the Barossa region of South Australia. Established in 1851, Seppeltsfield is one of Australia’s most historic wineries, and today is a vibrant community of artisans, with wine, food, art, craft and retail experiences on offer. Seppeltsfield is currently the national tourism award winner for Best Tourism Winery in Australia, and is one of only three Australian wineries recognised in the ‘World’s Top 100 Vineyards’.
With more than 20 years’ experience in the South Australian wine, food and tourism sectors, Elaine has a wealth of experience and knowledge from working with leading brands and in multiple tourism regions. Elaine has strong industry networks and insights from various management and board roles in organisations ranging from small business to global corporate entities, not-for-profit, industry groups and regional bodies.
Elaine is currently also Chair of the Barossa Farmers Market, and formerly Deputy Chair of the Tourism Industry Council of South Australia. She was also previously General Manager of Adelaide Farmers Market and has been a judge in both the South Australian Food Awards and South Australian Tourism Awards.
