Accessibility at

agriCULTURED

We want agriCULTURED to be a festival where people feel welcome, comfortable and able to take part.

Our program takes place across Launceston and Northern Tasmania, from city venues and community spaces to farms, historic properties and outdoor locations. Because every venue is different, accessibility provisions can vary from event to event.

Access information will be included on individual event pages wherever possible, so you can understand what to expect before you book.

We know access needs are different for everyone. If you have a question about an event, venue or something you need to participate, please get in touch. We’ll do our best to help.

Access information

Across the program, we aim to provide clear information about accessibility at each event and venue.

Depending on the event, this may include information about:

  • Wheelchair and mobility access

  • Accessible toilets

  • Accessible parking or drop-off areas

  • Seating

  • Assistance animals

  • Uneven or outdoor surfaces

  • Walking distances

  • Hearing or communication access

  • Any other conditions that may affect your experience

Some agriCULTURED experiences take place on working farms, rural properties or heritage sites, where paths, surfaces and facilities may be different from those found in purpose-built venues.

Please check the individual event listing before booking or contact us if you would like to talk through the access requirements of a particular experience.

Booking with access requirements

If you have access requirements, we encourage you to let us know when booking where this option is available.

This helps our festival and venue teams understand how we can best support you on the day.

If you would prefer to speak with someone before booking, please contact:

Email: [email protected]

Please include the event you are interested in and any information you would like us to know.

Assistance animals

Accredited assistance animals are welcome at agriCULTURED events.

Some experiences take place on farms, working properties or other locations where site-specific safety or biosecurity requirements may apply. If you are bringing an assistance animal to one of these events, please contact us beforehand so we can confirm the arrangements with the venue.

Parking

Parking arrangements vary across the festival.

For events within Launceston, public and accessible parking is available throughout the CBD, subject to availability. You can find information about accessible parking in Launceston through the City of Launceston website at www.launceston.tas.gov.au.

For events outside the city, including rural and regional experiences, parking and arrival information will be provided on the relevant event page where available.

If you require an accessible parking space, drop-off point or further information before attending, please contact us.
