Cool Climate Connections

A Conversation Across Continents

Presented by Agritourism Tasmania, Utzinger Wines, Kelowna Canada

Each year, Agritourism Tasmania curates a signature Journey event, inviting festival guests into the places and stories that shape Tasmania’s food and farming landscape. This year, we’re taking a journey of a different kind.

Hosted by the team at Utzinger Wines, this intimate experience offers exclusive behind-the-scenes access to one of Tasmania’s boutique cool-climate wineries. With numbers strictly limited, enjoy exceptional wine and a generous grazing table as you discover the stories behind the people, the place and the passion.

Bringing together two inspiring young winemakers from Tasmania and Kelowna, British Columbia, the evening explores the remarkable similarities between two world-class cool-climate wine regions. Though oceans apart, both are defined by passionate producers, breathtaking landscapes and visitor experiences deeply connected to the land.

Acclaimed food writer Richard Cornish will guide the conversation, joined by Agritourism Tasmania’s Allison Clark, fresh from exploring agritourism destinations around the globe featuring memorable regions, authentic people, a strong sense of place, and stories worth travelling for.

This is a rare opportunity to experience those stories firsthand in an intimate setting designed for curious wine lovers, food enthusiasts and anyone who loves discovering what makes a region truly special.

Places are strictly limited.
